Your Data

Today, the only data we retain is collection and base information that you save in the app. You can only save data if you've logged in through an identity provider like Apple or Google. We've already covered in the Privacy Policy that we don't share your data with anyone. We don't have a way for you to export your data at this time. If that's important to you, let us know at hello@heresay.app, and we'll see what we can do.

Sources

Heresay identifies specific recommendations as coming from a publisher, which we refer to as a source. Heresay is careful to attribute those recommendations, use only a limited quotation from the source, and link to the context. Many of our sources have a paywall and require a paid subscription to access the full content. Heresay fully supports the business model of the sources we reference, and should never be used to circumvent a source's paywall. We are not aware of any way to do that, but if we become aware, we will take steps to prevent circumvention. While it may be frustrating when we link to paywalled content, we are committed to referencing and supporting our sources and supporting their business models.

Heresay Subscription

Today, Heresay is a free service. That may change in the future, as there is real cost to operating the service. If we do introduce subscription, we will at a minimum make available the ability to export your saved collections to a usable format, at the same time.

Changes to these Terms of Service

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
